Toronto Rock – 50/50 Partnership

Want to get involved in your community in a fun and rewarding way? Smilezone Foundation is looking for friendly volunteers to sell 50/50 tickets at the Toronto Rock 50/50 home games! Help raise funds for our mission while enjoying the game and connecting with others.

As a registered charity in Oakville, Ontario, Smilezone transforms hospital and health care spaces to make them more comforting and fun for children and families. We add vibrant colors, engaging murals, sensory tools, and more to brighten their day. All proceeds from the Toronto Rock 50/50 season (Dec 2024 – April 2025) will go directly towards the upcoming Smilezone projects. Join us in making a difference!

Responsibilities include, but not limited to

• Educating the community on Smilezone Foundations mission
• Selling 50/50 tickets at the Toronto Rock Lacrosse games
• Operate electronic 50/50 technology
• Collecting funds and distributing 50/50 tickets to buyers

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, outgoing and calm demeanor
• Ability to work well in a small group
• Comfortable learning and using new technology
• Basic math skills

Requirements

• Have access to transportation to and from the Paramount Fine Foods Centre (Mississauga, ON)
• Provide a copy of a valid government ID (drivers licence, health card or passport)
• Must be 18 years or older 

Time Commitment

Smilezone Foundation will be hosting 9 50/50 games this season (December 2024 to April 2025). We are seeking volunteers who are interested in attending 50% or more of the games. The overall time commitment per game is 4-6 hours.
